DWFH Show Jumping, Fun Ride & Dog Show with a difference!

Join us for a day of fun at Coxleigh with the Dulverton West Foxhounds.
The day will begin at 9am with open showjumping from poles on the ground to 110cm. £10 per round in advance.
From midday there will be a dog show and horse and hound jumping competition. The H&H can be booked in advance for £7.50 or £10 at the ring side.
The dog show is £2 a class, pay at the ring side.
After the open showjumping in the main arena (at approx 1pm) we will begin our team jumping and track challenge / fun ride.
Teams of 3 or 4 riders will begin by jumping a round of showjumping at the teams chosen height. The entire round will be timed. The 3 best times with least faults will be combined to determine the teams showjumping score. After each rider has jumped they will head to the tracks where a marshall will set the team off on a signed route around the Coxleigh Plantation. The route will be timed. An optimum time will be set prior to the competition which will be a good hunting pace to include trotting, cantering and walking where necessary. Faults will be given for each minute slower or faster than the optimum time. The teams will be awarded by having the least faults and best showjumping time!
There is a fee of £45 per team whether there be 3 or 4 riders
