What happens at camp???
Each junior is placed in a ride with up to 4 other riders that are competently jumping the same height.
They will receive a minimum of 6 hours of tuition per day.
Including 3 hours of mounted tuition from video analysis, flat work, to grids and showjumping courses.
British showjumping members enrolled on the 5 star programme will also spend time working on their 5 star books.
There will be an additional 3 hours per day with the instructors taking part in Unmounted equine education from horse care, fitness, course building to course walking and even nutritional education from Topspec horse feeds who will be bringing their weigh bridge along.
Campers will arrive at their leisure on Sunday allowing time to settle horses in and use the on site facilities should they wish to do so (ridden work on Sunday is unsupervised so will require parent supervision). At 6pm there will be a simple evening meal provided along with team building games. Ridden work will commence at 9am on Monday morning (those choosing to arrive on Monday will be invited to arrive from 7.30am onwards) on Monday evening campers will head to the local cinema for the night. After a full days tuition on Tuesday campers will be ready to head home at 5pm.
Our camps are tailored to be educational yet fun. We provide shared accommodation so no child has the concern of sleeping alone at camp due to not knowing anyone. We have separate accommodation for males and females all with ensuites.
We actively encourage the formation of new friendships at camp in a safe and friendly environment.
Parents are not required to be on site during camp, we offer full supervision. Those that wish to be involved are welcome to join us but will be required to be fully DBS checked and able to provide their own accommodation for the duration.
All of our instructors are very experienced (and great fun) offering a wealth of knowledge to the children. All of our coaches and camp staff are upto date with safeguarding, DBS checks and first aid training.
